1st - No.3, an unusual and delicate flower, with tiny droplets of water and a good contrast with the background.
2nd - No.5, this shows the delicacy of the flower, with other stages of blooming from buds to dying.
3rd - No.4, trees and mist are very atmospheric.
Special merit for No.8, the monstrous seaweed, and No.10, the ferns, although it was difficult to see the whole picture to get a good effect in this medium.

Tom - get out of the kitchen at least for the next round!!!
Come on guys- someone is being done a terrible disservice if you ask me. I thought Photos number 7 & 9 were awesome and deserved to feature in the top three, or at the very least to get a 'special mention'!
Similarly, in the 'rocks' category, i think that whoever was responsible for the camerawork in picture 12 'was robbed', as they deserved the top prize.
Come Home Josephine !!
